Quick answer
Flame Dragon is the Tuesday UTC Guild Daily Boss. Detach is strongly recommended. Stay behind or on the Dragon's side—treat the movement like following it on a short leash. Follow the rear quarter as the boss turns.
Flame Dragon field plan
Frontal fire and charges punish standing in front; summoned pressure can make the arena progressively harder.
Stay behind or on the Dragon's side—treat the movement like following it on a short leash.
Follow the rear quarter as the boss turns.
Attack tells and response
Charge
Tell: The Dragon lines up and faces a lane.
Response: Step perpendicular, then return to its side/rear.
Frontal fire
Tell: The head and body face you before the fire burst.
Response: Never remain directly in front; rotate behind the shoulder.
Summons
Tell: Smaller flame dragons enter and add overlapping fire.
Response: Remove them before the arena becomes unmanageable.
Movement route
- 1
Follow the rear quarter as the boss turns.
- 2
Sidestep the charge and center fireball rather than backing down the full arena.
- 3
Clear summoned flame dragons when they begin removing safe space.
Damage windows
- The side/rear follow creates long short-range uptime.
- Resume pressure immediately after a charge finishes and the boss turns.
How to score higher
- Maintain attacks while rotating around the rear quarter; detach is valuable because the safe lane moves with the boss.
- Let continued attacks clear summons, but deliberately target adds when they begin removing safe space.
- Spend the rear and side-facing windows attacking, then release before the Dragon finishes lining up a charge.
- Return to range immediately after the charge ends instead of retreating across the arena.
- Short Range when rear-quarter uptime is repeatable
- Tracking when turns repeatedly break aim
- Ring or aura damage that stays active while circling
- Add clear only when summons are ending otherwise strong attempts
Choose gear and runes after learning the fight
This field plan applies to every gear set. Use a dedicated build guide for the equipment, hero, and rune page you actually play.
Common deaths
- Standing in front
- Chasing damage through a charge tell
- Ignoring summons until there is no clean lane
30-second checklist
- Start at the side
- Follow the rear quarter
- Sidestep charges
- Kill adds if space collapses
- Re-enter short range after every turn
Why this plan works
Frontal fire and charges punish standing in front; summoned pressure can make the arena progressively harder.
- The side/rear follow creates long short-range uptime.
- Resume pressure immediately after a charge finishes and the boss turns.
Record the result correctly
- Save the target as Flame Dragon.
- Attach the hero, skin, all six gear slots, rune grades, Rune Enchantments, selected skills, and whether detach was active.
- Compare this boss only with earlier attempts against the same boss; unlike weekdays are not a valid damage baseline.
